Ann-Marie Faulkner is a London based milliner. After completing a degree in Constructed Textile Design at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee, Scotland, Ann-Marie moved to London and went on to study millinery with Rose Cory - the Queen Mothers former milliner.
She established her studio in late 2012 and since then her work has been featured in publications worldwide and her collections are stocked internationally from New York to Tokyo by renowned stores including Anthropologie.
In December 2014 Ann-Marie set up her sister bridal label AM Faulkner Bridal which specialises in headwear for fashion forward, modern brides. Within the first year, her work has regularly featured in numerous magazines and influential blogs including You & Your Wedding, Grazia, Rock and Roll Bride and Festival Brides. She was also awarded the ‘Highly Commended’ prize at Most Curious Bridal Show 2015, was selected to exhibit at the first London Bridal Fashion Week in May 2015 and was nominated for best Bridal accessories designer 2017 at the recent British Wedding awards.
Textile design is still hugely important within her practice, with a lot of the fabrics used being designed and produced in-house. With an emphasis on simple forms and beautiful material, AM Faulkner sensitively combines contemporary and innovative textile design with traditional British millinery techniques to produce her signature pieces.
